Professional Expertise:
Josh is a passionate leader with over 20 years of experience creating programs that engage communities in conservation, education, and social change. He launched Swanfall Strategies in 2022 bringing his expertise in coalition and capacity building, fundraising, philanthropic advising, as well as strategic planning directly to organizations of all kinds. He has led initiatives for the National Wildlife Federation, the National Environmental Education Foundation, and the National League of Cities creating affirming experiences in nature for people of all backgrounds.
Background:
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Josh has B.A. in Anthropology and Biology from Drew University and a M.S. in Leadership from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.
In another life, Josh spent four years living in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay, on Smith Island, the only offshore-inhabited island in Maryland. When not at work, you can find Josh volunteering for several community organizations, managing youth sports, and exploring the outdoors with his sons, Finn and Jackson, wife, Hilary, and dog Rey Skywalker.
